Rattoon Holdings Limited's principal activity is investing in and managing investments in unlisted Australian entities.
Unlisted entities make up the majority of operating entities within Australia.
As these entities are not listed, opportunities for the general investor to invest in these businesses are limited.
Rattoon's objective is to identify these unlisted Australian entities and provide a mechanism whereby investors can access
the investment opportunity that these unlisted entities represent. This also provides an opportunity for these unlisted entities to access additional equity, or to provide their equityholders with a liquidity mechanism.
The first investment made by Rattoon was in The Estate of the Late George Adams ("ELGA") which owned the share capital in Tattersall's Holdings Pty Ltd ("Tattersall's"). Tattersall's subsequently listed on the Australian Stock Exchange as Tattersall's Limited, and Rattoon continues to hold the majority of its original investment.
Rattoon has also invested in the Newcastle Stock Exchange on the ASX (ASX code: NSX)
Rattoon is looking to invest in other unlisted entities that are likely to provide a stable income stream and opportunities for long term capital growth.
